Bike and Ride

You can park your bike for free in a covered bike shed or rented bike locker if you plan to catch a train, bus or ferry.

Bike sheds and lockers help to keep your bicycle, helmet and associated equipment safe and protected from the weather.

Secure bike shed

Bike Sheds

These enclosed shelters store between 12 and 55 bicycles, free of charge. Capacity will vary, depending on location.

You don’t need to book your space – just link your Opal card and accept the Bike shed Terms and Conditions.

Spaces are provided on a first in, first served basis and can’t be guaranteed.
Please allow five (5) minutes for your bike shed access to be activated.

Please note you will need an Opal card which has been activated for bike shed access to also exit a bike shed as electronic readers are installed inside all bike sheds to reduce unauthorised access and tail-gating.

Secure bicycle locker

Bike Lockers

This is an individual, lockable space to help keep your bike and associated equipment protected from weather, theft and vandalism.

There are over 830 bike lockers at 110 locations, so it’s as simple as selecting your location and rental period, and enjoying your exclusive locker access.
